Shiromoto-chan at work<\/p>\n\n\n\n The basic goal is to remove all but one fruit from each branch of the tree so that the persimmon can grow large and delicious. In fact, this is the farm work I have spent the most time doing. It’s nice to be able to work in the shade of the trees, and there are also sometimes cool breezes up in the canopy.
